BOOK CLUB with the Rancho Santa Fe Librarians

Join us for a lively discussion at the Senior Center of “Deacon King Kong” by James McBride. This novel is about an aging Brooklyn deacon who shocks his community by shooting the local drug dealer in 1969. The story follows how this act ripples through the neighborhood, uncovering resilience, faith, and unexpected connections.
